Burton’s governing board is a separate local education body from Porterville Unified. The named district and area identify the specific office on the ballot.

These are preliminary returns from the November 3 general election. The official canvass can change totals and rankings. Reporting all precincts does not establish that every valid ballot has been processed or that an outcome has been certified. Any district crossing county lines requires the other counties’ returns as well.
